What can I really say? My favorite band in the universe just makes good music interesting. They change their style nearly every album, and generally play two albums in advance when touring. Seen them twice, and it's a brainmelt. Can't wait to see them again at pitchfork this summer!

awesome post, awesome blog. animal collective is topping the list of favorite musical acts at the moment for me, too. i was reading some interviews with them last night, and they talk to journalists like they talk to people who listen to their music. such an honest, meaningful band.
