Okay, so he isn't the best rapper alive. And, while I hyped it as such amongst friends early on, it isn't the best album this year so far. But it is as solid a mainstream rap release as any the last three years has seen. His flows are absolutely nuts, and while the beats aren't as illinear as his raps (Swizz Beats just jacks a whole David Axelrod track for Dr. Carter... though Swizzy deserves credit. It's a long journey from the Best Buy Casio keyboard line on Ruff Ryder Anthem to sampling Axelrod), Wayne makes them work - all the while covering topics like fixing wack mc's, getting licked like a lollipop, having sex with female police officers, and how the world needs compassion.I realize this is kind of a weak first post back, as most of any interested parties already have this, there are always some late arrivals to the party. Plus I upped the bonus disc, so whatevs.
